iPhone onder de microscoop

Onder de microscoop ziet de iPhone er heel anders uit. Onder de electronenmicroscoop is zelfs nog meer informatie te achterhalen: onder andere over de gebruikte materialen.

De iPhone is op zichzelf al een prachtig apparaat, maar wat zie je als je de iPhone onder een $30.000 kostende optische microscoop bekijkt? Prachtige structuren, zo blijkt uit een serie foto’s die bij Gizmodo te zien zijn. Een $250.000 kostende electronenmicroscoop liet nog meer zien, namelijk dat het scherm niet van saffierkristal maar van gewoon glas is gemaakt, dat de zilverkleurige rand rondom het scherm bestaat uit staal met een chroomlaag en dat de achterkant is gemaakt van geanodiseerd aluminium.

Natuurlijk vrij nutteloos dit onderzoek voor de normale gebruiker. Echter is het wel erg interessant voor de mensen die een iPhone of onderdelen willen na maken! misschien dat er dan goedkope spareparts komen in de toekomst:)
