Bugs bederven speelplezier
Nu ik ongever op de helft van het spel zit een eerste recensie:
Het spel draait vrij soepel wat het grafische deel betreft op een iMac late 2009, 2,66 GHz Intel Core i5, 12GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB. Helaas zit het zo vol met bugs dat ik soms geergerd stop. Dialogen maken regelmatig geen zin. Je character zegt b.v. dat hij iemand helpen wil en diegene reageert bang alsof je hem bedreigt hebt. Opnieuw laden en ineens klopt de reactie (soms) wel. Tijdens cut-scenes hoor je de dialoog van b.v. Kreia (vrouw) maar je ziet Atton (man) in beeld. Heel erg is het ook tijdens de gevechten: je strijdmakkers rennen b.v. altijd naar een vijand toe tot ze er vlak voor staan, zelfs als je ze een handgranaat laat gooien! (Ze lopen dus zelf ook schade op).
Door al deze ongein raak ik tot nog toe ook niet echt geboeid door het verhaal. Al heb ik ook de indruk dat het “ritme” van het spel of de spanningsboog niet soepel genoeg uitgewerkt zijn. Delen van het verhaal komen bijzonder langzaam op gang. Soms heb je een haast eindeloze reeks van dialogen tot het verhaal verder gaat. Tot nog toe kan het spel voor mij werkelijk niet tippen aan KOTOR 1 dat een van mijn favoriete aller tijden spellen is.
PS: de mod die kennelijk ook enkele bugs verhelpt heb ik nog niet geïnstalleerd.
Does not start
It is a shame I've wasted money on this, the game does not start at all. I can open the initial menu, but when I press the 'Play' button, nothing happens.
The icon of the game stays in the Dock, but I can't start the game. I need a 'force Quit' to be able to close it.
doesnt run on recent OS (and spyware?)
Great game, but it doesnt run on recent OS. I would love to ply it again, so please fix!
Furthermore: it wants to log all keystrokes, even on other apps.
