A happy new year to everybody. You know our fireworks - but still we'd like to start with a bang: Discotainment 2.0 - the next leap for Discotainment!

Beat stabilizer
It does what it says - and more. It can hold the tempo when there's a short loss of the beat, and it can predict beats.
What does this Voodoo magic do, you ask? Well, it means that effects are now more in time with your beats - because we can compensate the delay when recording via microphone.
This is our new year's present to you - it's automatically there for everybody!
Note: We still recommend Electronic and Pop music with clear bass line for this to work best.
Pulsate effect
A new effect that just looks great - lights alternating brightness with the beat, especially when combined with other effects (more on that right after this). Choose the desired minimum and maximum brightness via slider.
(Available for every Member or w/ 2023 upgrade)
Automatic effect mode
Now we have so many effects - what if I don't want to be stuck at my phone all time?
"Automatic" is the answer - iConnectHue can now play different effects over time, ready with sliders for you to choose how much you want from each one, and how often (in beats) they should happen.
If you set "Pass through" to 0%, you solely use beats for light control, and other disturbances like speech won't have any effect anymore.
This is now available for every Member.
Don't have a Membership yet? Please try it! But even if you don't, our new Disco Scene set lets you use the new effects (without editing capability).

"From Disco to Disco" is our new Disco Scene set, with handcrafted Disco Scenes for every mood and party, and it employs the new possibilities of Discotainment, for everybody.

Best hue app
Yes this app is worth the money. It's the most versatile hue app I have found!
Mostly used to configure my hue system containing over 25 hue bulbs, multiple taps and dimmers. For daily operation we still use the standard Philips hue app as well
Pros:
- majority of the features can be used without buying extra in app purchases
- powerful usage of devices like the dimmer and tap
- works together with several other apps, including the standard Philips app. That is because all settings are stored on the bridge.
- The developer is very responsive when you have an issue. Most of my contacts were related to suggestions, as the app is very stable
Cons: iOS app only. So you need an iPhone
Awesome app with tons of fantastic features

thank you for your review.
We are sorry to hear that your motion sensor is not working as expected.
But please note that the sensor is (once configured) controlled by the bridge, and not iConnectHue. App-updates don’t have any influence on the bridge and thus motion sensor behaviour - but changes in other apps than iConnectHue might lead to issues. We therefore recommend to configure it with only a single app. You can set up your motion sensor again with the wizard and see if this resolves your problems.
We are also not aware of any general problems with the sensor.
If that didn’t help: Could you please contact us from inside the app so we may have a look at your settings to help you solve this issue? To do so please go to “Contact” in the menu, and then “I have a question”. I’m pretty sure that we’ll find a solution for this. Thank you!

Pay again for dimmer V2
I have to pay 5 euro for hue dimmer V2, I already bought it. Thats bad, really bad.

Hello Givgcghshujrbbbkxj,
question: Wouldn't it be worse if you hadn't support for this device at all? This would be the case if we wouldn't get paid for our additional work - this is why there's this purchase. It is thought to let us continue develop this app.
You have purchased iConnectHue at some point without support for that new Hue Dimmer. We continue to develop new features and add support for new devices, and as your work costs money, ours costs money as well.
Wouldn't you also rate us negatively if we didn't add the support and you couldn't use your brand new dimmer? So why would you rate us negatively for doing our work, and just ask for a fair share? That's the part we don't understand: After all, a single Hue Dimmer is already four times that price - and for a fraction of that, you can let iConnectHue make it do things it wouldn't have been able to otherwise.
So please understand that in order to be able to work for this app - after all, you get paid for your job as well, right?
