Beschrijving

FRITZ!App Fon connects with your FRITZ!Box via WLAN so that you can use your telephone at home via the fixed-line network and the Internet. Once FRITZ!App Fon has been started, it automatically runs in the background, making it easy to take incoming calls while other apps are running, or even during standby operation.

Once FRITZ!App Fon has been started, you can make calls with your iPhone, iPod or iPad directly over your FRITZ!Box, just like with a cordless handset. Incoming calls are displayed automatically. To make an outgoing call, open FRITZ!App Fon and dial the desired telephone number via the telephone book. To listen to new messages on the FRITZ!Box answering machine, press and hold down the "1" key.

Easy and stable app

Real easy and stable app to connect your landline to your mobile phone when connected to the Fritz Wifi network. Also easy to use you (wireless) headset

App no longer works for older Routers (eg 7581)

Rather unfortunate that the App updates without warning and then stops functioning for incoming calls for owners of older Routers. eg 7581 which AVM will not update to FritzOS 7.20. Yes you can read about this problem AFTER the app has updated but by then it’s too late!
It would have been more elegant to allow the older signalling method to co-exist with the update via settings in the app or even to keep the older app as a separate app in the App Store.
Disappointed.

Troep

Melding registration failed na het intoetsen van de bevestigingscode op een handset. Je kunt het dan niet opnieuw proberen of de mislukte registratie verwijderen. Alleen de app verwijderen werkt. Vervolgens opnieuw installeren en weer dezelfde fout. Mijn fritzbox 5490 krijgt vooralsnog geen update dus de nieuwe functies zouden ook niet werken. Logbestand heb ik bekeken, deze bevat zoveel info dat ik hem niet ga opsturen. Dit zijn de regels die er toe doen:
