• Organize your bookmarks with custom collections
Custom collections help you organize your bookmarks efficiently. Create collections for specific topics and assign bookmarks to them.

• Filter bookmarks using Tags
Create as many tags as you need and assign them to your bookmarks. This helps you to quickly filter and find bookmarks.

• Share URLs in other apps
Use the sharing feature in other apps to save URLs and links directly in Bookmarks. You can also simply drag and drop a website onto Bookmarks to store it.

• Import and export your bookmarks
Using a desktop browser like Safari or Chrome, you can create a file containing saved URLs to import into Bookmarks. Likewise, you can create such a file with Bookmarks to import it in a desktop browser. Importing bookmarks from Safari for iOS is currently not possible due to technical limitations.

Your bookmarks are always up to date on all your devices, automatically synced via iCloud. Bookmarks does not collect any tracking or analysis data, and any information is only stored securely on Apple's iCloud servers.

App doesn’t work at all. Besides that, most functionalities only work when you purchase certain upgrades. This is one of those apps that is made with one purpose only: fo grab as much money as fast as possible out of your pocket. Do not download this piece of pure rubbish.

Reasonably nice app, with some glaring problems

When I used bookmarks for the first time, I noticed that it was
a) good looking
b) very easy to add bookmarks, using the Share button on iOS and the Mac. This works very nice.
c) however, it is very cumbersome to tag and organise the bookmarks you just saved later on.
d) also, you cannot have more than one tag when you add, which is annoying.

Because of this you need to re-tag bookmarks later, for which you have to
1. right-click,
2. submenu Bookmark Info
3. submenu Select tags
Here you can select multiple tags (so why not in the other similar-looking screen?

Tagging hundreds of Bookmarks is cumbersome, so it should not be 2 submenus down. Also I would like to do that by keyboard, or select multiple bookmarks and tag those. I tried to contact the developer about these enhancements.

The developer is however completely unresponsive, I tried email and X. Which made me doubt that 'Bookmarks 2' was actually going to be better.
In the end I paid € 2 to export my bookmarks out of the app and started to use another app.
The bookmarks html misses the —for me— very important date-added feature. Also it was misinformed HTML, so I had to edit it first. All in all: sloppy. Which is weird because the app looks great.

Pity.
