Apollo is the FIRST application that enables you to add light sources to your **Portrait Mode** photos, after the photo was taken! Apollo reconstructs a 3D map of your photo which you can augment with new light sources in real time. Take your portrait mode photographs from awesome to unforgettable by selecting the color, intensity, distance of a light and illuminate your photos and selfies to your heart's content.

Apollo is the first app to use the depth data of your portrait mode photos to calculate photorealistic light and shadow. Using a proprietary processing algorithm running on your iPhone's graphics card, Apollo is able to render light sources on a portrait scene or selfie in real time.
Apollo allows professional photographers and amateurs alike to try things that are not possible in the physical world. You can shape scene lighting by adding or even removing light. Since lights are computationally rendered in the scene, it is possible to put a light source within the frame: say hello to invisible lamps!
The UI is optimised for use with one thumb, allowing you to always view the entire photo. One price, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.

Let op werk alleen met Dual camera
App lijkt mij geweldig, helaas werkt het niet op mijn ipad of iPhone. Het staat er niet bij maar de app werkt alleen op iPhone met dubbele camera
Nice but be careful
Dit is een leuke app maar pas op. Hij werkt alleen op ondersteunde iPhones zoals aangegeven staat. Daarbij komt nog dat jouw foto's in portret modus genomen moeten zijn. Waar het op neer komt is dat je foto's die in ondersteunde iPhones gemaakt moeten zijn en in portret modus genomen moeten worden. Al die oude foto's die je op je iPhone hebt staan, vergeet het maar. Je kunt er niets mee. Heel beperkt dus en dat zou iets duidelijker mogen worden toegelicht.
This is a nice app if you have an supported iPhone. The problem with this app is that you have to take photos is portrait mode and has to be taken on a supported iPhone. If you have pictures that are taken on a older iPhone, forget it, you can’t use this app. I have a iPhone XS Max and it works great, you can create nice pictures with this app but again, take your photos in portrait mode and us a supported iPhone.
Pity!!!
I saw an Apollo add in the AppStore and it didn’t mention that it won’t work with iphone7 so now I can’t use it!
I wrote to the developers but never got an answer

we are very sorry for this. We mention the compatible devices in too many places in the description of the app, but has been missed from the promotional article. The latter has not been written by the company that created the app, but by Apple. We have already contacted them in order they proceed with the necessary changes within the article regarding which devices are supported. We apologise for the inconvenience and feel terribly sorry about that. Unfortunately, currently there is no way to prevent non compatible devices from downloading Apollo which is a big issue for us and hurts our app rating. We would greatly appreciate if you consider changing your rating: we can do nothing to support non dual camera devices, so your one star will haunt us forever and does not refer to the functionality of the app.
