HEALTH DATA
Collection of Health data such as calories burned and heart rate requires an Apple Watch or other Apple Health connected device.
BATTERY USE
Arc is only awake and using GPS when you are active and moving. For the rest of the day Arc stays in a low power sleep mode, with GPS turned off, to conserve battery.
On a typical day of two to three hours of travel a single full battery charge should last from morning to evening without requiring extra recharging during the day. However longer trips (for example a long hike or cross country drive) may consume more than expected battery, due to Arc needing to be awake and recording, with GPS activated, for the duration of the trip.
For longer trips, I recommend plugging your phone into a car charger or battery pack, to avoid unpleasant battery surprises.

A free trial, active subscription, or Lifetime purchase is required to use the app.
## Subscription Details
Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account. At the end of the term your subscription will automatically renew in your iTunes account. You can turn off automatic renewal in your iTunes account settings at any time, but you must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current term.

## GPX importing is now supported!
Tap the ellipsis/more menu on Timeline view to find the GPX importer. Imported data can then be edited the same as existing Arc data.

Good but needs update
Good app but have some bugs. If choose monthly timeline a couple of timeline days are disappeared. Also switch between timeline freezes the UI.
I will be deleting this app from my phone
Use to love this app, but it’s become too slow and tedious to use. Figured I’d update to fix this but now I can’t access without committing to a subscription.Would have been nice to have a warning or heads up about this. I will use the trial period to download my data and then delete the app. Not liking the snarky comments from the devs to other reviews either. Maybe invest in some customer service or user experience testing…?!

Hi! I'm glad you're deleting the app. People who want to get a good experience come to the support forum, and I put immense effort into working through everything with them to get the best results. People who are never going to be respectful or willing to pay for things they use come to App Store reviews and give hateful 1 star reviews. It's best you move on.
Used to be fine
Update: can’t even export my data anymore without committing to a free trial. Absolutely do not support this kind of behaviour from a dev.
This app used to be fine generally speaking. Browsing my data over time become slower, more unreliable and always made my phone more hot/use more energy than the actual tracking. Unfortunately now, since an update I cannot access my old data anymore. The last time I used this app it was still slow as heck with browsing. I’m not even sure they deserve my 140 euro so I might just grab my old phone that runs an older version of the app to grab whatever I need real quick and look for alternatives. This app was good in concept but it’s so sluggish to browse to past data after the fact, which is made worse by this sudden paywall. I’ve had these slowness problems both on my iPhone 11 Pro and now 13 Pro.

Update to your update: The free trial is, wait for it: free. And it's for two months. That's an absurdly long amount of time to export your data. Grow up. You're not a victim of some heinous crime, you're a long time free user of a valuable product, who is throwing a fit when required to finally pay.
Export your data, delete my app, and get lost.

Hi! The paywall is not sudden, it's been there for about three years. If you've been using the app for that many years for free, might I suggest you've got quite an amount of value out of it.
If you are having issues with the app, there's also the support forum at https://support.bigpaua.com, where I am available to assist. The slowness you describe is not normal, so I recommend posting a description of your problem there, so that we can work through it and find out what's going wrong on your phone.
